The fashion queen, Efty, from Helsingborg sets her sights to the US. Efty Kvist has worked in the fashion industry for more than three decades, and has now broken into the American market with over 16 000 shirts sold every year.
"When I founded the company, I envisioned us launching a new collection every sixty days, but I soon realized that would be too demanding - especially since I would have needed to travel so frequently to India, where the clothes were manufactured," says Efty Kvist. However, the name was already established, and since she liked the sound of it, she decided to keep it.

"I dare, therefore I am there." Luxurious bohemian. That is how many describe the Helsingborg-based designer's style. Now, Efty Kvist is heading to the fashion fair in Copenhagen.
"This is a big deal for me. It’s the largest fashion trade show in the Nordic region, attracting buyers from all over the world who are on the lookout for new brands and trends," says Efty Kvist, the designer behind the brand SixtyDays.
She launched her brand in 2011.
Efty Kvist explains that many designers have had to close down, but not her; she believes SixtyDays is perfectly in tune with the times. "Many people are tired of the fact that clothes all look the same these days, and we offer an everyday style that is understated yet rich in detail," she says. That is also why SixtyDays is growring and thriving more than ever, Efty Kvist states.

The designer who keeps the style. The details are important, and the style is luxuriously bohemian. That is how the clothes of Efty Kvist - a designer from Helsingborg, Sweden who has made a name for herself with her own clothing brands - are described.
After 20 years in the clothing industry, Efty Kvist from Helsingborg made the move from the shop floor to the design table. "I had worked as a buyer for 20 years and dreamed of being creative myself and having my own brand," she says.
Looking back, she is happy to be her own boss. Above all, it is a joy to see the finished products being appreciated. "It is incredibly fun to create clothes and see people wearing them!"
